This typical Mexican restaurant has never been less than full from the day it opened, years ago. The entrance takes you through a little paved courtyard already suggestive of the bodega with, on the one side, the taqueria, and on the other, a Tex- Mex grocery where you’ll find all the necessary ingredients for your very own Latino party: nachos, dips, beers, tequilas, margaritas… unless you’d rather go home with the takeaway Columbian, Venezuelan or Latino specialties. The restaurant, with its saloon-style décor and perspective paintings recreating a Mexican square, is able to seat 170-needless to say, business is good! For a successful evening, begin with the traditional starters: nachos, quesadillas, guacamole, then follow with the tacos, fajitas or parilladas, all of it “watered” down with the usual margarita or a good Californian or Chilean wine. The show is ensured by a group of mariachis who, as the hours go by, raise the heat with a devilish salsa.
